I love saving money - who doesn't? :)

I've decided to chronicle some of my savings here - mainly from coupon shopping. None of the stores in my area "double" coupons on a regular basis, so I'll never get to the really extreme savings, but I think I do pretty well. I do tend to "stockpile", but only on things my family will use, and only when I get good deals.

This blog will be a chronicle of my shopping adventures, but will also, on occasion, contain other tidbits of useful (and not so useful) information.

Walgreen's - May 4th

Another coupon shopping trip today after my PT visit....first stop Walgreen's:

  • 1 Lysol spray $3.49 on sale - $1 manf cp = $2.49 plus got $1 in RR for next wk
  • 1 Tylenol Precise $7.99 - $5 manf cp - $3 Wal cp = FREE plus $0.01
  • 1 Tampax - $6.99 on sale - $3 manf cp = $3.99 plus got $2 RR for next wk
  • 8 Hershey bars ($0.49 ea on sale) $3.92 - $1.96 (4 x B1G1 manf cp) = $1.96 for 8
  • 2 deoderant ($2.99 ea on sale) $5.98 - $2.99 B1G1 manf cp = $2.99 for 2 plus got $2 in RR for next wk
  • 1 Bic razors $5.99 - $3 manf cp = $2.99 plus got $2 in RR for next wk
  • 2 U pads ($3.50 ea on sale) $7 - $2 (2 x $1/1 cps) = $5 plus got $2 in RR for next week
  • 1 shampoo $2.99 (on sale) - $1 manf cp = $1.99 plus got $1 RR for next week
Total OOP including tax, and including using $2 RR from Sunday = $22.31
Total retail price before sales and coupons:  $58.28
Total savings:  $35.97   ---   62%   plus got $10 in RR for next week
